Tonight, because it's Christmas Eve, we're going to see Gremlins at the ArcLight. Have I mentioned how much I love the ArcLight? It's the best.

Last night we went to yet another holiday sweater party. This one was at our friends' beautiful new old house in Whittier. The backyard was just so awesome with big ancient trees, strings of lights everywhere, and numerous chimneyas. The night culminated in our friend Nic sitting down with a guitar and vowing to play a song by an artist/band with a name beginning with each letter of the alphabet. And thus began a spirited drunken singalong that may have lasted several hours. We may have been told (by an annoying sober person) that we were acting like hobbits. A high compliment in my book.
