Looking at that bloody red map of the heartland, listening to �Look at Miss Ohio� by Gillian Welch, drinking wine like it�s water, crying a little.

Yesterday I was so thrilled when I came home and saw the hippie landlords had created a new 40-foot by 20-foot American flag in Christmas lights and hung it down the front of our building. The lighting display is a beautiful sight to behold. We salute it when it�s turned on.

This can�t be happening. Why do the nimwit �cultural conservatives� choose to elect a warmongering corporation for president? More wine please.

Can California just secede? Maybe California, Oregon, and Washington?
