Even though it's going to be a little while before we can buy a house, today Erik and I were looking at a house in Franklin Hills. It was so right, so dreamy. A wonky mid-century post-and-beam house that sort of feels like a cabin on a treacherous hillside with a beautiful view. Next to the house is a little private road that's blocked off by a massive gate. Basically, it's a windy road leading up to someone's private estate. As we were gazing at our dream cabin/home, who should drive up and flash her private gate opener to gain access to the private road but Chloe Sevigny. And you know what, she smiled at us in a really friendly way, something I might not have expected from her. Maybe she'll be our nice, surprisingly smiley neighbor.
