2005-06-01 - 9:30 a.m.

I believe this past Memorial Day weekend wins my prestigious Best 3- Day Weekend Ever award. There were bike rides and bbqs and shows and parties and margaritas and swimming. Well, OK, I didn�t really swim. I just sorta stood in the pool. But that was good enough for me.

Things have changed at the workplace, and now I get to go to New York. But I don�t really want to go anymore. I�ll be missing two birthday parties, a baby shower, and a graduation party�and all of these soirees involve groups of my favorite people. I�m actually trying to come up with excuses to weasel out of the trip now. There is something wrong with me.
