I'm in Boston, loving the rain, loving getting swept up in the Red Sox/Yankee drama (despite not having watched a baseball game since the Disneyland Angels World Series affair), loving Erik's family, loving the new Shins record. Yes, indeed.

Today the pack of us met up at Harvard Square and hung out at a cozy underground (meaning below the street, not meaning a speakeasy) pub and had many a pint and a good deal of beer-battered fried matter.

Tomorrow we're driving up to Maine, which is reported to have the prime fall color right now. Wednesday is Erik's mom's birthday. Thursday, we're going to New York. I'm so on vacation. Yes, indeed.
