Oh. So. Hungover. But its OK because the company owner, the senior editor, and the creative director - my managerial trifecta - are all out of the office.

Last night Erik and I went to an Irish pub in Sunset Beach to see our friend and favorite fiddler from Belfast (Beth of Fielding) fiddle her wee heart out. She really is a gem. She plays at this pub every Thursday night with the same group of musicians. They play various impromptu Irish folk songs and whatnot. And O.C. yuppies cavort and prance in a Riverdance sort of way. Beth of Belfast can really do the traditional Irish dancing, which is only one of 10,000 reasons why she rules. (I have a big crush on Beth.)

I think it's cute how Irish people - no matter what country theyre in - always flock to Irish pubs. Its comparable to how Americans always flock to Hard Rocks Cafes throughout the world. (Except that's not cute.) Theres something funny about a colony of Irish people gathering in an Irish Pub in Sunset Beach. Beth was actually wearing a wool scarf.

Tonight: Clem Snide plays an instore at my home, Fingerprints. Hoorah!
